Costs Guidance of the Court of Appeal

Members of the costs team (Mark Friston and Craig Ralph ) have been successful in the Court of Appeal in an important case (Drew v Whitbread) concerning the interaction between a trial judge and a costs judge. The case will have a significant bearing on the extent to which a costs judge can restrict the costs to those allowable on the fast track. This was a second appeal, and was heard by Dyson LJ, Hooper LJ and Etherton LJ
